#225 Quilter’s Delight II
With its spacious work area, the Quilter’s Delight II (Model 225) hardwood sewing cabinet is MADE for the quilter. The table extension, an extra 18-20" piece out the front, forms the perfect support for your to-be-sewed quilt. This front piece fits on top of the drawer when in use and stores easily in a closet when you're finished for the day. Another 22½”” deep wing out the back easily carries the weight of the already sewed portion of your quilt.
The Quilter’s Delight II has a 27” insert hole that allows for sewing machines up to 25” long. If your machine needs a custom insert, we will be happy to design that for you. This cabinet also has a roomy knee area, giving you ample space for operating a foot pedal. Does your sewing machine have a knee control? We can build the cabinet to accommodate it. Depending on the style, we use the top right pullout to install the knee bar.
Our default option is a 3-position, airlift which has three positions for your convenience. This built-in lift mechanism allows you to adjust your machine to the exact level you need. This works well for lighter or smaller machines.
We also offer an optional electric lift made for heavier or larger machines that makes folding up a breeze. Ready to put your machine away for the day? Push the button and watch it disappear.
The sewing cabinet comes with hidden casters, permitting you to push it out-of-the-way for storage when you're finished working.
The Quilter’s Delight II has wide drawers for organizing all those sewing notions a seamstress needs. The drawers are 21 3/8” wide by 18 ¼” long. The top drawer is 3” deep, the two middle drawers are 4 ¼” deep, and the bottom drawer is 6” deep. These drawer sizes are the same as the Sewing Center III.
Another choice is an additional height option which raises the cabinet to 33½” or 35”. This makes the rear wing a comfortable place to use your rotary pad and cutter without risk of backache. When ordering the additional height option, the drawers automatically gain more depth in contrast to the standard-height cabinet.
